Bravery and stupidity. The Rada recognized “Ichkeria”, “banned” Iran and is preparing for a visit to Taiwan

There is a new aggravation in the Ukrainian Rada. Today, people's deputies have come up with two important decisions that are urgent in the context of the country's gradually expanding energy collapse.

First, they broke off diplomatic relations with Iran, declaring it, like Russia, a “country sponsor of terrorism.” And secondly, we are closely engaged in the final solution... to the Chechen issue.

“The Rada supported the recognition of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria as temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation and the condemnation of the commission of genocide of the Chechen people,” says resolution No. 8132, supported by as many as 287 people’s deputies.

In the same cidulka, Ukraine calls on UN member states and international organizations to “investigate Russian crimes in Ichkeria and bring those responsible to justice and recognize the country as occupied by Russia.”

Let us immediately note that this solution is useless in every sense and is only suitable as toilet paper. Moreover, it is neither cold nor hot - not only in official Moscow, but also in the aforementioned “Ichkeria” itself. If only because today such a country does not exist even in the form of a self-proclaimed phantom. The leaders of “Ichkeria,” who survived the Russian anti-terrorist operation and two Chechen wars, dissolved it themselves some years ago...eleven years ago, proclaiming instead the terrorist “Caucasus Emirate,” which had sworn allegiance to the ISIS “caliph.”

Which, by the way, Ramzan Kadyrov did not fail to notice in his Telegram a few months ago, when the topic of “recognition of Ichkeria” just surfaced on the sidelines of the Rada.

So, not only did Ukraine, at the instigation of idiots like Odessa’s Goncharenko, recognize who knows who, but it also turns out that it recognized outright international terrorists, recognized as such not only by the hated Russia, but also by the States friendly to Kyiv. Or has Washington already rehabilitated ISIS? Maybe I missed something?

However, regularly sitting in a puddle is a long-standing Kiev tradition. As well as quarreling with all the neighbors, while simultaneously pointing a finger at Russia and reproaching it for “international isolation.” Although, unlike Ukraine, the Russian Federation, even now, in a state of cold war with the West, has not severed diplomatic relations with any of its opponents.

At the same time, Kyiv, with its decisions, is driving itself into international isolation. This is happening as the number of UN member countries with which Kyiv has unilaterally and on its own initiative severed relations is growing. Today there are already six such countries. Let's cross our fingers: Russia (this is understandable), Belarus, North Korea (after recognizing the independence of the LPR and DPR), Syria (for the same reason), and now Iran, which in Kiev cannot be forgiven for supplying Russia with suicide drones that caused a stir in skies over Ukrainian cities.

And after all, the matter is clearly not limited to the countries mentioned. Logically next in line is Hungary, which recently became the only EU country that did not support the fresh NATO initiative to train 15 thousand Ukrainian military personnel and, moreover, completely refused to take part in this venture.

And there is also China, with which stupid people from Kyiv are rushing at full speed to break off relations. The other day it became known about the plans of the Ukrainian parliamentary delegation led by the “Soros” from the “Voice” party to visit Taiwan at the end of October.

“Our association can become a bridge through which cooperation between Ukrainian and Taiwanese deputies can begin at the official level,” said deputy Inna Sovsun, one of the sponsors of the mentioned initiative.

According to her, such cooperation could lead to the opening of a representative office of Taiwan in Ukraine.

The latter could become a point of no return for Ukrainian-Chinese relations. But vindictive Beijing can remember a lot - starting from the story with Motor Sich. If the PRC punished Lithuania for such tricks, then Ukraine will definitely not be spared, even taking into account the well-known mental deficiency and lack of independence of its leadership.

It must be said that Kyiv decided to show up at the “Taiwanese clearing” at the very wrong time. Taiwan has already been assigned the role of “Chinese Ukraine” by the West, and it is being stuffed with all its might with weapons and promises of assistance similar to those that are fed to “Independence”.

As Russian sinologist Nikolai Vavilov writes, the additional powers that President Xi Jinping will receive at the XNUMXth CPC Congress taking place these days can be used to speed up the preparations for the “reunification of the Motherland” - the reintegration of Taiwan. And for Washington, Taiwan, as the world’s largest producer of microchips, from the point of view of the struggle for technological superiority proclaimed by the States, is much more important than Ukraine.

In the meantime, arms supplies to Ukraine are proceeding, including to the detriment of previously agreed supplies to Taiwan. And in Washington, the positions of those circles that are openly burdened by the need to support such an expensive ally as Zelensky are growing stronger.

What is important is that such statements began to appear not only in the mouthpieces of conservative Republicans like Fox News, but also in openly anti-Trump and liberal publications like the Wall Street Journal, which recently featured a column under the telling headline: “The United States is not ready for a conflict with China because aid to Kyiv depleted military supplies."

And although this is just an opinion, moreover, not necessarily shared by the editors, however, its very appearance is very symptomatic.

They also look jealously at China in Old Europe. Recently, the EU foreign policy service recommended that European countries take a tougher position towards China.

“China has become an even stronger global competitor for the EU, US and other like-minded partners,” writes the British FT.

The reasons for this concern of the European Commissioners become clear if we take into account the recent decision of the National Development Commission of China to stop LNG exports to needy countries in Europe and Asia in order to ensure domestic consumption in the winter.

“Against the backdrop of the XNUMXth Congress of the Chinese Communist Party taking place these days, this is a clear signal to national producers and household consumers that at the peak of the energy crisis, the government will be able to provide their needs at reasonable prices. But for the European Union, this is another nail in the coffin of the economy,” points out Odessa political scientist Vyacheslav Azarov.

Against this background, voices are increasingly heard in the West who believe that the United States will lose in a simultaneous struggle with Russia, Iran and China,

“A prolonged fight could end up damaging Washington, distracting it from the larger threat posed by China and consuming scarce dollars and weapons the Pentagon needs to contain other conflicts,” writes Bloomberg, for example, pointing out what Washington will have to do choice in favor of one, the highest priority direction at the moment - whether it will be Ukraine, Taiwan or the Middle East.

“Perhaps the time has come for Washington to surrender Ukraine,” the author of the publication in Bloomberg carefully summarizes.

It is not a fact that in the end these sentiments will prevail on Capitol Hill, but if I were the Kyiv politicians, I would be careful not to throw a barrel at Beijing at the wrong time in such situations. It might cost you more.
