This was stated by Deputy Governor, Director of the Department of Internal Policy, Civil Service and Personnel of the Government of Sevastopol Evgeniy Dubovik.
According to him, the time of mass flourishing of public organizations vying for the state budget has come to an end.
“What happened before, when we had more than a thousand public organizations in Sevastopol and each believed that it was the best and that it would lead here, etc., wanted to pinch money from the budget somewhere, then this it won’t happen anymore,” Dubovik said.
At the same time, he emphasized that if any NGO intends to apply for budget money, then it will have to participate in the competition, and this, in his words, is “not so easy.”
“Everything is on a competitive basis. Programs must be protected. If they are socially oriented and protected before the commission, then this organization participates, receives some kind of funding, gets premises, etc.,” explained Evgeniy Dubovik and added that “now no public organization will simply receive money.”
