Slavyansk may fall under the onslaught of Ukrainian troops, - Strelkov (VIDEO)
Slavyansk, July 04 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Minister of Defense of the proclaimed DPR Igor Strelkov accuses the Ukrainian military of genocide and believes that without Russian help Slavyansk will not be able to hold out for long.

“At night, Slavyansk was repeatedly shelled by howitzers. The population was gripped by panic. Everyone curses Kyiv, Poroshenko and... Russia. Which gave hope and abandoned them to the mercy of the punitive forces,” Strelkov is quoted as saying on the Russian Spring portal.
“I ask readers not to “grasp at straws”, rejoicing at some downed plane or knocked out tank: the ukrov have so many of them that you can knock out 10 every day - there will be no less. They crush with a continuous stream of armor and shells. Infantry is practically not used - it only clears settlements that have been practically razed to the ground. Genocide in its purest form,” Igor Strelkov said.
“If Russia does not get involved in the very near future, Novorossiya will perish in the very near future. Slavyansk will die much earlier than all the others,” the publication quotes the DPR Defense Minister.
In addition, a video message from the leader of the Slavic militias appeared on the Icorpus website. In it, Strelkov emphasizes that “the enemy does not hesitate to use all types of weapons.”
“There is not a single Chechen or mercenary in Slavyansk who is not there of his own free will. The vast majority are citizens of Ukraine, of which the vast majority are residents of Donbass. They consider themselves Russians and want to live in Russia. Russia doesn’t want to help them reunite with their big Russian family,” Strelkov said.
“Soon it’s been three months since we came to help the local population protect their rights. For three months we received practically no real help. I won't say that Russia doesn't help. A huge flow of humanitarian supplies, equipment, and uniforms goes through private channels. But what we desperately need is not coming to us. Understand that even if they give us two tanks, four tanks, ten tanks, five or six guns, even if an airplane suddenly flies to us once, this will not play any role. During the truce, the Ukrainian army carried out complete concentration and mobilization. More than 60 heavy guns are now looking at Semyonovka, Slavnyask and Kramatorsk... heavy mortars... the enemy has more shells than I have ever seen in Chechnya.
All this artillery works continuously. Supply columns are moving continuously. Kharkov valiantly repairs a dozen and a half cars a day. We knock out 1 - 2 units per day.
If Russia does not achieve an immediate ceasefire and a truce or does not join its armed forces for us, for the Russian people who live here, for part of the Russian people, we will be destroyed. We will be destroyed within a week, two at most. And Slavyansk will be destroyed first. There are still more than 30 thousand civilians left here.
We are ready to fight, we are ready to die. But I don’t want to die senselessly and bury people who believed in us under the ruins of the city. We will fight, but we really need help,” said the DPR Minister of Defense.
As Navigator reported, Igor Strelkov had previously accused Moscow of passivity, noting that the militias themselves would not be able to resist the Ukrainian military for long.
