Slavyansk will purchase coal from the DPR
Kyiv, November 27 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Slavyanskaya TPP, owned by the Donbasenergo company, will buy coal from Snezhnoeanthracite and Sverdlovanthracite, which are located in the ATO zone and are not currently controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.

This was announced by a representative of Donbasenergo during a meeting of the National Commission that regulates energy and utilities in Ukraine.
“The issue is being resolved there - the agreement has already been signed with Snezhnoeanthracite, and it is being resolved with Sverdlovanthracite. For the Slavyanskaya station, coal is better than Sverdlov,” said a company representative, according to whom bank accounts have already been opened in Kyiv to which funds will be transferred.
Currently, the work of the Slavyanskaya Thermal Power Plant has been stopped due to damage as a result of hostilities; it is planned to restore the station’s operation on December 31.
As PolitNavigator reported, the SBU detained a shipment of coal from the LPR at the Berdyansk seaport.
