Simferopol, June 18 (Navigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case on organizing a murder and prohibited methods of warfare against the governor of the Dnepropetrovsk region, oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov.

According to the investigation, Avakov, acting in concert with Kolomoisky and other persons from among the top leaders of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, in the period from April 12, deliberately, with the aim of killing civilians, organized and supervised the execution of military personnel of the Armed Forces, armed members of the National Guard and “Right Sector”, as well as soldiers of the special forces battalion “Dnepr” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, created and financed by Kolomoisky, military operation.
“During this operation, during the shelling of the cities of Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Donetsk, Mariupol and other populated areas of the proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, in violation of international law, deliberately with the aim of killing an unlimited number of civilians, in a generally dangerous way, motivated by political hatred, systems were used multiple rocket launchers "Grad", aircraft unguided rockets with a cluster warhead, and other types of heavy offensive weapons of indiscriminate action, as a result of which more than 100 civilians were killed, including citizens of the Russian Federation carrying out their official activities - journalists Kornelyuk, Voloshin and human rights activist Mironov, photojournalist Andrea Rocchelli, as well as harm to the health of varying degrees of severity to more than 200 civilians, more than 500 residential buildings were completely or partially destroyed and burned,” the report says.
In addition, as the ICR recalls, public utilities and life support facilities, hospitals, children's and educational institutions were destroyed, as a result of which more than 50 thousand residents of the DPR and LPR were forced to leave their permanent places of residence and arrive on the territory of the Russian Federation.
In addition, the investigation believes that it was with the knowledge of Avakov, Kolomoisky and other persons from among the top leaders of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine that the kidnapping of journalists of the Zvezda TV channel Sushenkov and Malyshev, the illegal seizure of journalists of the same channel Davydov and Konashenkov, as well as a number of other Russian reporters were organized .
