Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andrei Parubiy stated this in the Verkhovna Rada hall, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Of the three issues that we included today for consideration in the Rada, I propose now to vote for the draft resolution regarding Ukraine’s non-recognition of the legitimacy of the elections of the President of the Russian Federation in Crimea,” he said.

Let us note that 216 Ukrainian deputies voted for this project. This means that Kyiv did not officially recognize the results of the presidential elections in Russian Crimea. In fact, official Kyiv repeated a similar step of the European Union, whose leaders also announced non-recognition of the elections in Crimea.
