The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation named the commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine responsible for war crimes in Donbass
The Investigative Committee of Russia has established the names of the commanders of the armed units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces who were involved in the shelling of civilians in the Donbass.

This was announced by the acting head of the department’s media relations department, Svetlana Petrenko.
“The Directorate of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the investigation of crimes related to the use of prohibited means and methods of warfare has established the names of the commanders of units of the Ukrainian armed forces who carried out artillery shelling of civilian infrastructure and the population in south-eastern Ukraine,” TASS quotes her as saying.
The material clarifies that cases were initiated against Colonel Sergei Sirchenko, Lieutenant Colonels Alexander Shcherbinin and Vasily Zubanich, Colonel Sergei Brusov, Lieutenant Colonel Ivan Garaz, Major Sergei Martsenyuk and other unidentified persons.
According to the investigation, Sirchenko and other military personnel carried out targeted artillery shelling on April 17 in the village of Zaitsevo, Donetsk region. As a result of the shelling, three residential buildings were partially damaged, as well as a humanitarian aid distribution point, and a woman not participating in the armed conflict was wounded.
On June 15, Zubanich and the military of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at Krasnogorovka and Staromikhailovka with heavy weapons, causing injuries to two civilians.
On July 7, Brusov, together with other military personnel, shelled Zaitsevo, as a result of which about 30 residential buildings were damaged, and two civilians were injured.
On July 19, Garaz, Martsenyuk and other military personnel of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the territory of the Kuybyshevsky and Kievsky districts of Donetsk, as well as the village of Yasinovataya, Donetsk region, with heavy weapons, which damaged eight residential buildings and injured four civilians varying degrees of severity.
