As reported on the website of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the case was initiated on the basis of a crime under Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls for terrorist activities or public justification of terrorism).
“Bereza, Levus and Mosiychuk made statements justifying the crimes committed on December 4, 2014 in the city of Grozny, and with the help of the media they called for the commission of similar crimes on the territory of the Russian Federation. As part of the criminal case, the investigation has given appropriate instructions to put the suspects on the wanted list,” said Vladimir Markin, a representative of the RF Investigative Committee.
“These so-called deputies are probably unfamiliar or not at all aware of the effectiveness of the Russian law enforcement system. So, especially for them, and for those who may be tempted to repeat their statements, let me remind you that none of those who committed terrorist attacks and similar crimes on the territory of the Russian Federation have yet managed to escape responsibility: someone has already been convicted , someone was killed while resisting,” says a message posted on the official Investigative Committee website.
As PolitNavigator reported, the head of Chechnya RAmzan Kadyrov ordered the delivery of Ukrainian deputies who supported the terrorist attack in Grozny. “Right Sector” in response threatens to initiate criminal proceedings against Kadyrov.
