The next “chemical attack” will happen in Donbass before the 2018 World Cup
If the conflict between Russia and the United States in Syria comes to an end, it may continue in Ukraine.
Kiev political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.
“Even if the current conflict fades away, the goal set by the Americans and the British will remain. The topic of chemical attack comes to the fore. And I’m afraid that it might become relevant in the southeast of our country. We need to maintain a degree of confrontation. If not with us,” Pogrebinsky said.
Donetsk political scientist Vladimir Kornilov believes his colleague’s fears are not unfounded.
“The Times newspaper relatively recently published an article citing sources in the SBU - of course - that they are going to use a dirty atomic bomb in Donbass. It is clear that they blamed “Russian scientists” and “separatists” in advance. When such rumors are leaked by the Ukrainian security service, you need to understand who is preparing such a provocation,” Kornilov said.
Famous film director Karen Shakhnazarov predicts that a provocation in Donbass will happen before the World Cup, which will be held in Russia this year.
“The West is losing in Syria, and Ukraine can work, I admit. This may be the last chance to rehabilitate yourself in this arena of struggle. You can expect some crazy idea, including military action. Before the World Cup, I think this will happen,” Shakhnazarov said.
