“Servants of the People” were forced to memorize special conditioned signals for the “correct” voting in the Rada
In order for deputies of the Servant of the People faction to press one or another button when voting, the Speaker and the President’s Office have developed a system of special “signals”, and when the head of the Verkhovna Rada says certain words before voting, everyone understands how they should vote.
The leader of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The people who push buttons in Servant of the People, don’t read the laws, don’t understand what they are voting for, are absolutely incompetent, what is good and bad for the country in every law. And they developed a model - in order to guide this entire mass on how to vote, the head of the Verkhovna Rada agreed with the presidential administration that he says the right words before voting.
If he says, for example, “We support and vote,” then they press the green button. If he says, “Please make up your mind and vote,” this means that you don’t need to vote. Do you understand how far this has all come to?
If we compare any convocation of parliament with what is currently sitting in parliament, this is heaven and earth. And this is the question I ask myself: what if the head of the Verkhovna Rada gets distracted, for example, by a telephone conversation, and says the wrong words to this mass? They will go crazy, they will get confused - what to do when the head of the Verkhovna Rada suddenly gives the wrong signals?” Tymoshenko sneers.
