Servant of the People will split into at least three groups
There will be no unity in the pro-presidential Servant of the People party, which won the Ukrainian parliamentary elections.
Kiev economist and political scientist Oleg Soskin stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that a split is already undeniable. There should already be some groups emerging. Of course, Kolomoisky will not sit under a bush, he will definitely have a group, it already exists, and he will crystallize it. Of course, there will be Dubinsky’s group, these will definitely be individual majority leaders. There will be a group, naturally, Avakova,” the expert noted.
Political strategist Andrei Zolotarev also drew attention to the recent scandal associated with the humiliation of newly elected deputies from the Servant of the People by presidential adviser Nikita Poturaev, who said that the new deputies do not represent anything. The expert emphasized that such an attitude could sooner or later make these deputies an easy target for recruitment and outbidding.
“Such an infringement of self-esteem is a potential target for recruitment, for messengers to come from the supporting fathers, with a handbag, with cash. That is, when a person is disadvantaged by something, believes that he is underestimated, that he is humiliated, he is a potential target for recruitment. And for Servant of the People there is a very big risk that such covert work will begin. As soon as complaints begin that “it is impossible to live on a thousand dollars in Kyiv,” that “we are not valued,” “they are building us,” this is a clear signal that this process is beginning,” Zolotarev noted.
