“Servant of the People” is becoming an outsider and will soon lose deputies – Kiev expert
At the next elections in Ukraine, many deputies from the Servant of the People will abandon this losing party and go to other, more promising projects.
Ukrainian political scientist Denis Gaevsky stated this at a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We will not consider the passage of Servant of the People into territorial and village councils as a serious success; the situation in large cities and regional centers is more indicative - like Krivoy Rog, Mariupol, and so on.
Now, through behind-the-scenes agreements, candidates from Servant of the People in a number of regions become secretaries of local councils and heads of regional councils, but the central government does not need to delude itself, because they clearly will not have any reliable support locally,” he said .
The political scientist also emphasized that the people who are currently elected from the Servant of the People party will not run for this party at the next elections, but will go to other projects.
“Those representatives of the Servant of the People who become secretaries of city councils and heads of regional councils, in the next electoral cycle, most likely, will not go under the Servant of the People brand to any elections, but will most likely be integrated into local political projects and look for your future there,” Gaevsky concluded.
