"Servants of the People" are preparing for a fight
The so-called mono-majority in the Verkhovna Rada, consisting of deputies of the presidential faction “Servant of the People”, will cease to exist in the spring of next year.
Ukrainian diplomat and ex-parliamentarian Roman Bessmertny stated this on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, the recent expulsion of several deputies from the faction and the statement of President Vladimir Zelensky that it will soon be time to change “even these” indicate that the head of state has set his sights on new elections.
“This drama is now beginning for Zelensky’s second series of elections, but I assure you, in four months it will spread to Zelensky himself, so this tool of addressing nothing will work more and more. This is the first. And secondly, the phrase that we have agreed and it’s time to change, this phrase is also from the same series.
I've been hearing it all the time since '94. Our presidents are characterized by the phrases “I found them in the trash”, “they didn’t have time to be elected, they already need to be replaced.” It happened before. Starting in the spring, we will become participants in the tragedy of the conflict between the Verkhovna Rada, where there are servants of the people, the majority, and President Zelensky, who is the pinnacle of these servants of the people. That is, the servants of the people will fight among themselves,” said Bessmertny.
