“Servants of the People” and Vakarchuk’s party presented Poroshenko with a “personal amnesty”
By voting for changes to the bill on the State Bureau of Investigation, the Verkhovna Rada actually rehabilitated former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko before the law.
It is noteworthy that Poroshenko’s party “European Solidarity” and Yulia Tymoshenko’s “Batkivshchyna” party demonstratively did not vote for these amendments, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I put to a vote the proposal to adopt in the second reading and in general, with the necessary technical and legal amendments, the draft law on amendments to the Law of Ukraine on the SBR on improving the activities of the SBR, number 2116. I ask you to support and vote...
For 250, the decision is made! “Servant of the People” 224, “OPZZH” 2, “European Solidarity” 0, “Fatherland” 0, “For the Future” 1, “Voice” 18, non-factional 5. Thank you, a break is announced,” speaker Dmitry Razumkov commented on the process.
Ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, former party member of the scandalous Oleg Lyashko, Igor Mosiychuk, called this initiative a special operation to amnesty ex-President Petro Poroshenko.
“Parliament has just voted for a personal amnesty for Petro Poroshenko!
I am referring to the law on the State Bureau of Investigation, which provides for the release of Roman Truba and his deputies, to be replaced by persons loyal to Western partners and President Zelensky. And since Western partners demand that Poroshenko not be brought to criminal liability, then here you go, voila, an amnesty.
President Zelensky signed it even before the vote in parliament, publicly calling on people’s deputies to vote for the release of Roman Truba.
The special operation is over! Everyone is free,” Mosiychuk wrote on his blog.
Deputy of the Servant of the People faction Maxim Buzhansky could not hide his disappointment and shame in his Telegram channel.
“Well done. Together with the Golos faction, they saved Poroshenko from prison. Moreover, even Poroshenko himself did not vote for this,” stated Buzhansky.
Thank you!
