“Servants of the People” complain about beatings, coffins and KamAZ trucks with soil
Recently, a campaign to intimidate Verkhovna Rada deputies from the Servant of the People party has been expanding over land reform and other initiatives.
This was stated by the first deputy of the Servant of the People faction, Alexander Kornienko, during a meeting of the conciliation council of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This news no longer surprises anyone, the deputy was beaten again “Servants of the People”, yesterday in Sumy by Mikhail Ananchenko. This is not just a deputy, he is one of the leaders of our party, a representative of the Ze-team in the Sumy region, he has long been known in this area, he has been conducting this activity for a year. Actually, some unknown people, as they say, in balaclavas attacked him,” Kornienko said.
He emphasized that such incidents are already part of the system, and asked law enforcement officers to more thoroughly investigate such cases.
“Perhaps there is a connection between all these attacks that occur within the walls of the Verkhovna Rada, unfortunately, and simply in the territories, in the regions where our deputies are located,” the parliamentarian suggested.
“We also once again emphasize that a negative campaign of pressure on deputies regarding land reform is expanding, coffins are being brought to public reception rooms (I don’t think that any deputy would be pleased to receive a coffin, a funeral wreath or a KamAZ truck in his public reception room.” land - well, this is still somehow acceptable).
It is clear that the goal of this campaign is to intimidate the deputies so that they do not even think about doing the reforms that we have planned, which we will definitely do, and which will definitely bring results to the Ukrainian people in the near future,” Kornienko complained.
