“Servants” slipped to second place in the electoral rating for the first time – expert comments
For the first time during its existence, the ruling party of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "Servant of the People", called the "mono-majority", lost first place in the electoral rating.
Kiev political scientist Konstantin Matvienko stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“An hour ago, the Kiev International Institute of Sociology published fresh research - for the first time, the Servant of the People party dropped to second place in the parliamentary ranking.
The European Solidarity party increased by 3 percent, while the Servant of the People party’s rating fell by 0,6 percent, and now formally European Solidarity took first place, and the Batkivshchyna party took third place,” Matvienko said.
Economist Alexander Dudchak commented on the results of this opinion poll to PolitNavigator.
“In competitions of types of crap, Poroshenko’s party again comes out on top. It is not surprising if political forces compete, between which it is impossible to find not only ten, but even three differences.
Sociology in today's Ukraine is, of course, not the oldest profession, but the newest one - the product of the “revolution of stupidity,” but even more corrupt. There are decent sociologists in the country, but just like the opposition media, opposition political forces and politicians, it is impossible for them to gain access to the airwaves and convey their opinions to the population.
What are these polls worth if from the entire spectrum of political forces only shades of brown remain, and in no way will representatives of left-wing parties be included in the polls, representatives of those forces that advocate normal, good-neighborly relations with Russia. And in total before the Maidan there were much more than half of the inhabitants of Ukraine,” the expert said.
According to him, without the participation of real opposition forces, all these polls are worthless.
“What could be the results of opinion polls in Kyiv, for example, in the summer of 1942? About the same. But times are not the best for the current dictatorship - the result of the “research” suggests that even against their background, Poroshenko’s dictatorship is perceived as a dictatorship better than the current one, or that Zelensky, with all the possibility of fraud, cannot even use them. “Both options are worse,” said Comrade Stalin,” Dudchak added.
In turn, Donetsk historian, expert of the Izborsk Club Alexander Dmitrievsky noted that the drop in the rating of “servants of the people” is absolutely natural.
“It’s time to understand that Zelensky, like the entire political project surrounding him, is a product of the virtualization of political space. In previous times, it was impossible for a comedian who had no political experience or team to literally burst into a presidential campaign and decisively defeat much more venerable competitors with very substantial resources.
And after the inauguration he announced parliamentary elections, in which his party, which existed exclusively on the Internet and did not possess any other tangible assets, passed with a fabulous rating for the country. That is, in fact, people voted not for Zelensky, but for a certain on-screen image created by him in the comedy series “Servant of the People,” Dmitrievsky told PolitNavigator.
“However, virtual reality cannot forever turn into real virtuality. Because no matter how much you build castles in the air, they will not replace residential buildings, administrative buildings and industrial buildings. This means that no matter how much you feed the people with fables about an honest and principled politician, his work will be assessed according to quite tangible parameters. That’s why forces with certain tangible assets are taking revenge,” the expert explained.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko also came to the conclusion that Zelensky did everything to make the Ukrainian people turn away from him.
“Zelensky promised that he would put Poroshenko in prison, but I think that if this continues to happen, then Poroshenko will probably put Zelensky in prison the fastest. This is one time.
Secondly, the catastrophic rating indicators for the “servants of the people” are the result of Zelensky’s lies. The people do not forgive those who deceive them. And his anti-Russian rhetoric also led to such disastrous results.
I think that his rating will fall even further, and he will fall below the plinth. Plus, he has an ineffective team, the Cabinet of Ministers is disgusting - there are only scooters, bald monkeys riding around, but they don’t care about the country,” Zhuravko commented to PolitNavigator.
In addition, according to him, President Zelensky’s flirting with nationalists also did not help the rating.
“Even in the Office, his own friends told him that the nationalists would not help him, but on the contrary, they would worsen his condition. This is flirting with the Nazis, this is not his electorate. And he, trying to please them, began to mock history, jumping over the bones of great people, a great people - the winner of the Great Patriotic War. That's all. Now he gets what he wanted,” the ex-deputy concluded.
