Zelensky’s “servants” are campaigning in the Rada for awarding Bandera and Shukhevych “Heroes of Ukraine”
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine introduced a draft resolution on the assignment of Nazi collaborators Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych received the title of “Hero of Ukraine”.
Ukrainian TV presenter Vitaly Krutyakov stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In addition to asking for this in Lvov, eighty-one deputies of Ukraine, including members of the Servant of the People faction, registered in the Verkhovna Rada a draft resolution to return the title of “Heroes of Ukraine” to Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych,” Krutyakov said.
In turn, the head of the Lviv regional organization of the political party VO "Batkivshchyna" Mikhail Tsymbalyuk noted that Vladimir Zelensky is obliged to listen to parliament and recognize Bandera and Shukhevych as heroes of Ukraine.
“It would be logical if, on the eightieth anniversary of the creation of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, Vladimir Zelensky fulfills the will of the Ukrainian people, and it is represented by deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, and still returns the titles of “Heroes of Ukraine” to the political leaders of the Ukrainian nation Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych,” insists Tsymbalyuk.
The head of the Committee on Humanitarian and Information Policy, Servant of the People deputy Nikita Poturaev added that other Nazis should also be awarded honorary titles.
“I support the return of the titles of heroes of Ukraine to Bandera and Shukhevych, and I also support the awarding of high titles not only to Bandera and Shukhevych, but also to others heroes of the UPA.
I also want to emphasize that it is important for us to appropriately praise all fighters for Ukraine. Tell me, isn’t Petlyura a hero of Ukraine? The KGB carried out a special operation to kill him. Many may disagree with me, but I believe that Hetman Skoropadsky is a hero of Ukraine,” concluded Poturaev.
