Ukraine is trying to plug mobilized holes at the front to gain time
Political scientist Dmitry Rodionov said this, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, those mobilized into the Ukrainian Armed Forces are “thrown into a meat grinder to gain time” for a counter-offensive.
“The counteroffensive itself will be carried out by the best formations, equipped with the latest NATO weapons. These units are now being trained in Britain and other Western countries. The direction of the counteroffensive is difficult to predict. According to one version, this will be the Zaporozhye region, according to another - the Svatovo-Kremennaya region. In any case, it must be taken seriously,” the expert told Izvestia.
At the same time, analyst Dmitry Solonnikov is confident that there is no reason to talk about the exhaustion of Ukraine’s mobilization potential.
“There is a lot of talk about the imminent exhaustion of the mobilization potential. It seems to me that these are false assessments. Ukraine is a large and fairly densely populated country; there are still enough people there to continue hostilities,” Solonnikov is convinced.
