This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the State Employment Service Sergei Kravchenko, Ukrinform reports.
“We have a problem of illegal labor migration - only 1% of Ukrainians find employment abroad through official intermediaries,” Kravchenko said.
Kravchenko said that in the labor market the demand for work in Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and other neighboring countries is so high that even travel agencies have begun to offer employment services abroad. But in order not to be deceived, migrant workers need to know and comply with the requirements that give them the right to work in each specific country.
The Deputy Chairman of the Civil Service drew attention to another aspect of the labor migration of Ukrainians that requires regulation - their social protection after returning to Ukraine.
“They do not have pension savings or other social guarantees. We would also like to raise and resolve this issue, because migration has always been, is and will be, this process is continuous, and it will continue,” Kravchenko noted.
