She also proposed taking full advantage of Brexit to reduce the size of the state apparatus and abandon the practice of excessive government intervention in people's lives.

Observers believe that the chances of Truss becoming Boris Johnson's successor as British Prime Minister are quite high. Government officials in key positions are considered to be well known and have the ability to make themselves known.
