Turchinov’s replacement was reminded of his position on Donbass two years ago
The current Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Alexander Danylyuk, two years ago, as the country’s Minister of Finance, rejected the “return” of Donbass, citing the fact that the region requires colossal financial investments.
Deputy Minister for the Affairs of the “Occupied” Territories Georgiy Tuka stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The official noted that at the same time, the leader of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko received hundreds of millions of budget money for the purchase of fire trucks.
“Alexander Danilyuk, who is now running behind the shoulders of the newly elected president, spoke directly to me twice at government meetings, when we came up with initiatives on the issues of reintegration of Donbass, it was this person who said to me twice to my face: “Zhora, what kind of Donbass? You need so much money there!”
And this was said by the person who is responsible for the country’s financial policy. To be even more honest, you can look at the night of the adoption of the 2017 budget, when Lyashko was allocated 800 million at night for fire engines, and we were allocated as much as 16 million to solve the housing problems of displaced people,” said Tuka.
