In the evening of January 1, young people began to gather near the building of the Lviv Regional Council. About half a thousand townspeople came to take part in the torchlight procession.
The young people gathered for the procession, many of whom were wearing masks and with hoods pulled over their faces, were holding yellow-blue and red-black flags, as well as burning torches.
“Bandera, Shukhevych are heroes of Ukraine!”, “OUN-UPA - state recognition!”, “Glory to Ukraine! “Glory to the heroes!”, “Glory to the nation!” “Death to the enemies!” activists chanted.
Amid shouts, the march participants walked along the central streets of Lvov to the monument to Stepan Bandera, where a public meeting and memorial service had previously taken place, with the participation of representatives of local authorities.
As PolitNavigator reported, a procession of nationalists also took place in Dnepropetrovsk.
