Russia is superior to NATO countries not only in nuclear weapons, but also in conventional ones. Ukraine’s so-called “European partners” do not have such missiles as “Caliber” and as many tanks as even the DPR.
A member of the Maidan of Foreign Affairs, Andrei Klimenko, who fled from Crimea to Ukraine, stated this in an interview with Apostrophe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, people in Russia laugh when they read statements by European politicians about the deployment of NATO brigades in Eastern Europe.
“Russia has made great progress in conventional weapons since the Georgian War of 2008. We see that the Caliber missile - the Americans and their partners, allies, have an old 30-year-old Tomahawk, a subsonic missile that flies 900 kilometers. They don’t have a rocket that flies at 2600 and has several speeds of sound.
And they are not only missiles - in fact, they have tested and are now testing a very large number of samples of new electronic warfare equipment, locators, the same tanks, and so on. This is a battlefield weapon.
It seems to me that the Russians laugh when our NATO friends say that they have stationed a new battalion somewhere in one of the Baltic countries and another in Poland or somewhere.
From this point of view, Russia is superior to everyone. It’s not for nothing that they laugh that the DPR army has more tanks than Germany or other European NATO countries,” Klimenko said.
