About this on the air of the talk show “People. Hard Talk,” said ex-head of the SBU Igor Smeshko, who previously headed the Intelligence Committee under the President of Ukraine created by Poroshenko’s decree.

“We have built a feudal police state, we wear the clothes of democracy, but in reality, it is a feudal police state. According to the UN, the optimal number per 100 thousand population is 222 police officers. The world average is 300. Ours is 780. Our law enforcement sector, together with the police and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is twice the size of our Armed Forces,” Smeshko noted.
