Media: “Officer’s Daughters” were replaced by “Soldier’s Mothers of St. Petersburg”
Foreign agents working to undermine trust in the Russian Armed Forces pretend to be human rights organizations.
About it writes the publication “Nakanune.Ru”, citing as an example the activities of the organization “Soldiers' Mothers of St. Petersburg” - an NGO that consists of lawyers who make money from consulting conscripts and supporting court cases involving military personnel.
“The fate of St. Petersburg “mothers” is very turbulent - in 2014 they recognized as foreign agents, then in 2015 they managed to re-register, they got rid of their “agency” status and even got themselves a grant for 2,7 million. Having felt the taste of money, they successfully integrated into the ranks of pseudo-fighters for rights along with scandalous "Prizyva.net" and other legal assistants, have repeatedly raised questions with their collections of donations on social networks for the next conscript,” the publication says.
According to the publication, Soldiers' Mothers are now distributing press releases to the media discrediting the Russian army.
“Lawyer Alexander Gorbachev took upon himself the promotion of old cases on hazing in the army, and his team prepared an incomprehensible social survey and a number of fake “reviews” with dramatic stories of conscripts, which they invite journalists to promote,” writes Nakanune.Ru.
“Unfortunately, this is very similar to an example of business on human tragedies and manipulation of the feelings of real mothers and their sons. Hiding behind concern for the fate of ordinary soldiers, you can earn a lot... I would like to convey to readers one simple idea: if a lawyer starts working with you with lies and manipulations, then such a lawyer is worthless - he is only interested in his own earnings, and not in helping the client,” – notes the author of the material.
