“As our publication has learned, the bodies of 10 people are now being examined by forensic experts in the carriage where the explosion occurred and in the tunnel on the Sennaya Square - Technological Institute section. Two more victims died at the Mariinsky Hospital. According to the hospital press secretary, they were brought in already in a state of clinical death. Another woman died in the ambulance while being taken to the hospital, and her body was taken to the morgue on Ekaterininsky Avenue,” the report says.
According to preliminary information published by the publication, the nature of the injuries of the victims suggests that the IED was stuffed with metal balls and nuts. The explosion on the Sennaya Square - Technological Institute section occurred at about 14:40.
