Poroshenko’s media suddenly saw the light
The media controlled by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko are concerned with discrediting uncontrolled radicals from the neo-Nazi “National Corps” created on the basis of “Azov”.
Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes about this.
“Only in the last week, viewers of the Poroshenko-owned TV channels “Direct” and “Fifth” learned that the founding father of “Azov” Andrei Biletsky is not a hero of Ukraine, but a Nazi, racist and chauvinist, with a “bloody trail” behind him. Along the way, presidential journalists spoke about the connections of the “National Corps” with... the KGB.
Thus, those who until recently were called the best representatives of the Ukrainian nation suddenly became criminals. For the Ukrainian media to call a spade a spade, the Nazis only had to set fire to two candy stores and throw a rubber pig at the president,” the publication writes.
