Poroshenko's media leaked wiretaps of Tymoshenko and Kolomoisky online
The channel “Direct”, controlled by Petro Poroshenko, began to promote a video “leaked” to the Network with a recording of a wiretapped telephone conversation between Yulia Tymoshenko and the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, who is hiding abroad.
Tymoshenko congratulates Kolomoisky on his birthday, calling him “a true friend and a true partner in all the most important, important matters.”
She wishes the oligarch to be “left alone”, “all the worst is left behind.”
“Until we achieve our goal, we will not calm down,” Kolomoisky said.
“I want you to know that I really appreciate everything you do,” Tymoshenko added.
“I hope to see you soon,” Kolomoisky says.
"Bye. Hug tightly. I kiss you,” Tymoshenko ends the conversation.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, the released recording may confirm the version that Kolomoisky, forced to leave Ukraine after the conflict with Poroshenko, is supporting two presidential candidates at once in the current elections - Yulia Tymoshenko and Vladimir Zelensky.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev argued that initially oligarch Kolomoisky launched Zelensky into the elections as a technical candidate to ridicule Poroshenko, therefore the comedian's rapid rise in popularity was unexpected.
“There was an agreement that Zelensky’s role was to shoot down and ridicule Poroshenko, so that Yulia would not be involved in black PR, without being drawn into a war with Poroshenko. To be criticized by others. And suddenly this is the situation with Zelensky. He’s number one,” said Tsarev.
“Now a lot depends on what Igor Valerievich decides. Which of the options? This is to offer Yulia the position of prime minister or remove Zelensky,” the ex-deputy added.
