“He who watches over Odessa retains his position by paying Yatsenyuk $50 million,” deputy
Moscow - Kiev - Odessa, October 08 (PolitNavigator, Vasypiy Ablyazimov) - The lustration law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada is not a law to combat corruption, but a tool for reprisals against current and future opponents. This is what Odessa businessman and politician Igor Markov thinks.

According to him, today people who have not committed any offense fall under this law, but are guilty only of having different political and ideological views.
“I would like to see one of the current ideologists of the lustration law, Yuriy Lutsenko, how he lustrated his own father, who for many years was the first secretary of the Rivne regional committee of the Communist Party,” Igor Markov said on the Rossiya TV channel.
In Ukraine, the new Kiev government not only does not fight corruption, but on the contrary, it has restored all of Yanukovych’s corruption schemes, the deputy believes.
Thus, according to the politician, in Odessa, the “supervisor” of the city, Ivan Avramov, not only did not fall under lustration, but continues to make a profit. Igor Markov claims that Avramov paid Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk $50 million to retain his position.
