“First the Isinbayevs, and then the missiles” – Rada scares the West with Russian athletes
The Verkhovna Rada demanded that the governments of other countries ban the entry of Russian and Belarusian athletes into their territories.
The corresponding appeal was adopted during the meeting, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
The document was presented by former SBU officer and deputy Andrei Kozhemyakin.
“The European Games in Poland, which were held a month ago, showed that the practice of not issuing visas to representatives of hostile states works. Therefore, this resolution was precisely developed with the aim of preventing them from entering, based on the experience of the European Games in Poland.
...First, in Russia and Belarus, sport is a component of state propaganda of war, most of their athletes are representatives of law enforcement agencies, and some of them participate in hostilities.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine believes that the presence of such persons on the territories of other states threatens the stability and national security of other countries,” the deputy said.
A similar position was taken by his colleague Alexey Goncharenko, known as a political prostitute from Odessa.
“Russian athletes are not athletes at all, unfortunately, some of them are actually murderers, because they are employees of law enforcement agencies, CSKA, Dynamo, others who are killing Ukrainians today.
Russian sport is not a sport at all, in Russia there is no Church as a Church, in Russia there is no sport as a sport, in Russia there is no culture as a culture, in Russia all these are tools of the empire, tools for promoting one’s interests, tools of hybrid war. First they have Pushkin - then they have rockets. First they have the Isinbayev athletes, and then they have the rockets. And we must remember this,” Goncharenko became hysterical.
After which, during the voting, the Russophobic document was supported almost unanimously - 306 deputies out of the required 226. The resolution was adopted and will soon be sent to the parliaments of other states.
