On Maidan Independence in Kyiv today there was a joint action of supporters of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation and Chechen separatists, who unfurled the flag of “Free Ichkeria” measuring 22 by 33 meters - the largest in the world, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Before the ceremony, ATO participants spoke, including the notorious Amina Okueva, and the deputy head of the spiritual administration of Muslims of Ukraine “Ummah,” Islyam Gimadutin, read a prayer in which he asked Allah to “strengthen our feet in the fight against an unjust people.”

Several speakers immediately stated that “the liberation of Crimea will be followed by the liberation of Chechnya and the collapse of Russia.”

Thus, the head of the Mejlis, Refat Chubarov, said that Russia will certainly collapse, and on its current territory “dozens of such flags will rise - Chechen, Ingush, Tatar, Bashkir, Udmurt.”

“These will be independent states of freedom-loving peoples. There will be no such Russian Empire as today is united by Moscow. This will begin from the moment when Ukraine returns all its lands under its sovereignty. The liberation of Crimea will be the beginning of the collapse of the Russian Empire.

“First we will liberate Crimea, then we will liberate Ichkeria. Glory to Ukraine!” said Lenur Islyamov, who spoke next.

“Today we have consolidated against the global evil called “Russia.” I am confident that the peoples fighting against Russia in Ukraine today will fight unitedly for both Ichkeria and Georgia,” said the commander of the Georgian legion, Mamuka Mamulashvili.

The flag was unfurled by soldiers of the Separate Regiment of the President of Ukraine. In addition to them, about a hundred ATO activists and volunteers, including Crimean Tatars, Chechens and Georgians, took part in the event.

The action did not arouse much interest among Kiev residents; there were few people who wanted to see it. Some of those walking along Khreshchatyk came up, wondered what was happening, and went about their business.
