In Donbass, Yaroslav Nikonenko, a soldier of the 101st brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was killed by a sniper’s bullet.
The department's press service reported this on social networks, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We inform you about the tragic death of our brother-in-arms soldier Yaroslava Sergeevna Nikonenko, who died from an insidious enemy sniper bullet in the Joint Forces Operation zone on October 15.10.2019, XNUMX. May she rest in peace. Rest in peace. Eternal Glory to the Heroes!” the message says.
“This is Yaroslava Nikonenko. Killed today by an enemy sniper. “Not the other side,” but the enemy, the Russian Federation and its mercenaries, murderers who receive Russian rubles for the war. Yaroslava left behind a thirteen-year-old daughter... Yaroslava’s brothers wrote to me that her father also died in the ATO in 2015. Eternal memory to you, warriors – Father and Daughter,” Verkhovna Rada deputy Irina Gerashchenko wrote in her blog.
Father of the deceased.
Nikonenko really went to war, first as a volunteer, and then signed a contract with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In 2015, Yaroslava Nikonenko’s father, a militant of the national Aidar battalion Sergei Nikonenko, died in the ATO zone. He was wounded during shelling of the village of Trekhizbenka on January 18, 2015.
