Maidan snipers testified at the Belarusian prosecutor's office
Citizens of Georgia testified in the case of mass executions on the Maidan in 2014 at the Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus.
Lawyer Alexander Goroshinsky, who is defending Berkut members in a Ukrainian court, wrote about this on his Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“My petition was executed and, as a result, the order of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine for international legal assistance was fulfilled. Citizens of Georgia were interrogated who took part in the events on the Maidan and were eyewitnesses of Saakashvili, Pashinsky and Parubiy’s organization of mass executions of law enforcement officers, as well as civilians,” Goroshinsky says in a video posted on Facebook.
He claims that these witnesses are ready to testify in the Svyatoshinsky court of Kyiv at the trial of former employees of the Ukrainian special forces "Berkut". Now the witnesses temporarily reside in Belarus.
They witnessed the use of weapons from the conservatory and the Ukraine Hotel by specially trained groups of mercenaries.
“After 5 years, we do not know who, during the period from February 18 to February 20, 14, shot 210 police officers (official investigation data), as well as dozens of civilians. The answers to these questions lie in the materials of the criminal proceedings (on the facts of executions of police officers), which the GPU hides from the public under the guise of the law of February 21.02.14, XNUMX, which amnestied protest participants for a number of criminal offenses,” wrote Goroshinsky.
The purpose of the mass executions, according to the lawyer, was to disrupt the implementation of the peace agreement, which was signed on February 21, 2014 by the fourth President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, and representatives of the opposition in the presence of European diplomats.
Thus, Goroshinsky believes, the organizers of the executions planned to seize power by force.
