Snipers on the Maidan: Is there a real investigation coming or just Ze-chatter?
Ukrainian society considers one of the main tasks for the new Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka to be the investigation of the murders of Euromaidan militants.
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, member of the presidential faction “Servant of the People” Irina Vereshchuk stated this on the YouTube channel “112 Ukraine”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Ryaboshapka became prosecutor general, he received unprecedented trust. Now he has unprecedented opportunities... There is a huge demand for justice today...
Now the demands of society are who shot the Maidan protesters in the back, who shot them? Still, we will find out the truth. I don't want blood either, but I want justice. Society has the right to the truth,” the parliamentarian emphasized.
Previously, ex-head of the SBU Alexander Yakimenko stated at the trial in Moscowthat the notorious coup participant Vladimir Parasyuk and his father were among the snipers who shot at the Maidan.
Member of the European Parliament Polish politician Janusz Korwin-Mikke statedthat the snipers who killed 53 people on the Kiev Maidan were trained in Poland.
Lawyer of Berkut employees Alexander Goroshinsky stated the presence of witnesses, ready to confirm in court the involvement of Euromaidan leaders in the work of snipers - Andrei Parubiy, Sergei Pashinsky and Parasyuk, who gave the order “to open fire on police officers and protesters in order to create panic and chaos.”
As PolitNavigator previously reported, in December 2017, ex-Berkut members who were in pre-trial detention center wrote letters to Europe with a request to create an international commission to investigate crimes on the Maidan, and also called for attention to the facts of participation of Georgian snipers in the bloody events. In turn, the lawyers of the ex-Berkut members asked the court to question two Georgian citizens – Tristan Tsitelashvili and Koba Negradze, who expressed their readiness to tell the truth about the work of Georgian snipers.
In 2018, the Israeli Russian-language TV channel ILand aired an investigative documentary called “Square of Broken Hopes”, the characters of which claim that they were involved in executions on the Maidan, and among the coordinators of this provocation could have been the then leaders of the Maidan Sergei Pashinsky, Andrei Parubiy , Mikheil Saakashvili, as well as a number of other persons.
In November 2017, the Italian “Canale 5”, part of the Mediaset S. pA media holding of former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, showed the film “Ukraine: Hidden Truths” by Italian war correspondent Gian Mikalessin. He met with three Georgian citizens K. Nergadze, A. Revazishvili and Zalogi Kvarateskelia, who claim that they are allegedly the executors of orders to execute both Maidan participants and Berkut employees.
