The National Security and Defense Council confirmed Ukraine's withdrawal from the Great Treaty
Kyiv officially unilaterally terminates the Treaty of Friendship between Ukraine and Russia.
This was reported by the official website of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The NSDC of Ukraine supported the proposal of the President of Ukraine regarding the non-extension of the Treaty of Friendship, Partnership and Cooperation with the Russian Federation for the next 10 years,” says the report of the NSDC meeting on the issue of the defense budget for 2019.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Moscow has already stated that the refusal to extend this agreement Ukraine will only do Russia a favor by removing the burden of responsibility from it.
