A snow storm cut off power to 13 settlements in Crimea, leaving 18 thousand people without electricity

Simferopol, March 17 (PolitNavigator, Evgeniy Andreev) – On Tuesday, due to worsening weather conditions, power supply was partially disrupted in populated areas of Crimea. About 18 thousand people were left without power supply.

This was reported by the press service of the Crimean Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

As of 1300, 13 settlements were de-energized, 4 of them partially. Most of the disconnected settlements are in Kerch and the Leninsky region.

21 teams from the State Unitary Enterprise of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Krymenergo”, 59 people and 21 pieces of equipment, are working to restore power supply.
