The photo of Navalny “who woke up” confused experts
Russian blogger Alexei Navalny, allegedly poisoned by the military substance Novichok, is recovering surprisingly quickly.
This, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, is evidenced by a photo of Navalny with his wife and two children in the German Charité hospital, published by a blogger on the social network.
“I still can’t do anything, but yesterday I was able to breathe on my own all day. Actually myself. I didn’t use any outside help, not even a simple valve in my throat. I really liked it. I recommend it,” Navalny wrote under the photo.
True, experts were confused by this photo, since the blogger clearly did not look like a person whose life was in mortal danger.
Thus, the editor-in-chief of the German online magazine World Economy, Alexander Sosnovsky, shared his doubts about this, whose opinion is cited by Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“First: the pillow and linen are in perfect condition, it looks like they weren’t on the bed. Second: the devices behind your back are inoperative. Third: Navalny has a visible bandage on his arm, but there are no traces in the area of the subclavian artery. Fourth: there are no marks in the neck area indicating surgery. Fifth: his hair is washed, he looks like a thinner, but still not exhausted coma patient, who could only be fed artificially,” the expert noted.
“When he really came to his senses, this should be recorded in the medical history, and an extract from it should be requested. Was the photo really taken in Navalny’s room? Or is this staged? The answers will really help to understand Navalny’s case. He himself and his family, if there is nothing to hide, can give answers,” Sosnovsky concluded.
Let us remind you that Russian blogger Alexei Navalny I was admitted to the hospital on August 20. He became ill right on board the plane flying from Tomsk to Moscow, which is why the plane had to be urgently landed at Omsk airport.
A couple of days later, Navalny was sent by private flight to the German Charité clinic. where local doctors promptly diagnosed he has poisoning. Later, doctors stated that the blogger was poisoned with the Novichok chemical agent, but they refused to provide evidence to the Russian side.
