About it State Statistics Committee said in a statement.
As reported, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has worsened its forecast for a decline in Ukraine's GDP from 5% to 7,5% in 2015 with 40% annual inflation.
At the same time, the state budget of Ukraine for 2015 is calculated based on the optimistic scenario of the Cabinet of Ministers for the development of the situation, which provides for a fall in GDP of only 5,5% with inflation of 26,7%.
Thus, the 2015 state budget initially turned out to be unfeasible.
Let us recall that negotiations with creditors on writing off external debt reached a dead end earlier this week, calling into question the further allocation of IMF loans, which threatens default and economic collapse.
However, for supporters of the current course of the Ukrainian authorities, even such catastrophic figures are not proof of the failure of the chosen course of development of the country. They say: it’s Putin’s fault.
