There is a version that supplies of ammunition were carried out from the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime to the Donbass republics.

The director of the Kyiv Center for Political Studies and Conflict Studies, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, commenting on the situation with explosions at Ukrainian ammunition depots in Balakleya.
“I heard this version: during the summer, all these three years, trains from the DPR – LPR with coal and not only to the “mainland” ran there. Someone said: why don’t we go back past Balakleia and grab a certain amount of the right weapons and bring shells there,” the political scientist noted, clarifying that he does not know whether this kind of information is true or not.
It is worth noting that back in 2014, as PolitNavigator reported, the famous Donbass militia commander Igor Bezler said that he had to buy weapons in Ukraine through the mediation of Petro Poroshenko and Ukrainian generals.
