Presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak stated this today on the Ekho Moskvy radio station.
“I believe that Russia is waging a hybrid war with Ukraine. Of course, we do not admit that our soldiers are there. And of course they are there. It's all a lie. For me, as a citizen, this war exists. And the president bears responsibility for it,” Sobchak said.
At the same time, she emphasized that Putin’s “guilt” must be established in court. Sobchak believes that Russia “must begin to comply with the Minsk agreements” and withdraw “all these troops, which are covered either by private companies or by volunteers.”
“I am absolutely sure: today we are withdrawing our troops, tomorrow the conflict is over. The Russian population has always lived well there. I don’t think that only rabid Banderaites are in power in Ukraine. This problem within Ukraine will resolve itself. I don’t think that these people will all be destroyed and driven into concentration camps,” Sobchak said.
