Sobchak praised Odessa residents who did not fall for the “provocation” with the arson of the House of Trade Unions

“Let us remember the Odessa provocation, which, thank God, did not work. And we see how Odessa lives. I have many friends there. My husband even has relatives living there,” Sobchak said.

She praised those Odessa residents who forgot about the victims and are now “living a peaceful life.”

“This was a deliberate provocation to set fire to the fire of war there too. But people there turned out to be smarter. And despite this provocation, these victims and dead, they did not give in. And now there is no hatred towards Russians there. This is a Russian-speaking city. There is no persecution of Russians there. People who do not fall for these provocations, who are not forced into war in Ukraine, live there calmly and in peace,” Sobchak said on the Ekho Moskvy radio station.
