Sobchak allowed to speak against Russian Crimea on federal TV

“The stability that we were promised did not happen. What stability is there if we are fighting two wars? Our population has become impoverished over the past five years, the ruble exchange rate has doubled. This happened, among other things, because of the geopolitics that our state is pursuing,” Sobchak said.
She stated that she intends to continue to conduct anti-Crimean propaganda - as part of the election campaign on federal channels, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I will explain to people why they have less money, why the food basket is inaccessible to most. So that old people understand the connection between Crimea and the fact that there is less money. If, through my campaign, I can explain the connection between the fact that we are fighting two wars and the size of the pension. So far people do not see this relationship. It seems to them that Crimea is separate, and the problems are separate,” Sobchak said.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Sobchak began her election campaign by asserting that Crimea is Ukrainian. Now these allegations are being verified by the prosecutor's office.
