Sobchak is upset: Russia is indifferent to Navalny’s “revelations”
The “investigations” of opposition blogger Alexei Navalny regarding his alleged “poisoning” did not have a tangible impact on Russian society.
The scandalous liberal TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak admitted this in her Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Quite a few days have passed since Navalny published the first video of an investigation about a group of poisoners from the FSB. The second video with the call to Kudryavtsev was released last Monday. Putin drew a direct line between these events. What has changed in Russia? Globally, nothing. And this is the saddest thing.
Yes, both issues received over 20 million views each, and a certain seed was planted in people’s heads. A lot of memes, jokes and gags about cowards and security officers appeared. Several deputies found the courage to write official requests to the authorities asking them to initiate a criminal case into Navalny’s poisoning. But this is a drop in the ocean from what could have happened.
Everyone was waiting to see how Putin and Peskov would answer questions about the investigation, how the propagandists would justify themselves, but everything was mundane and boring, no one even bothered to come up with something original. The New Year is approaching, there is trouble and fuss, people are not in the mood for high things,” Sobchak wrote.
