Sobchak got into another scandal in connection with Crimea
Former Russian presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak was announced as the host of the “Business on Autopilot” commercial conference, which will take place at the end of April in Alushta at a hotel owned by banker Alexander Lebedev.
Let us recall that during the election campaign, Sobchak demonstratively appealed to the Ukrainian authorities for permission to enter Crimea, since she allegedly considers the peninsula to be the territory of Ukraine. This gave Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin a reason to accuse her of political schizophrenia.
“Uh... excuse me, but what about the permission of the Ukrainian government to enter the annexed territory? No longer needed? The elections are over, that’s it – and we can relax and stop fooling around? I love it when politicians lie so innocently, childishly,” wrote publicist Dmitry Olshansky on his Facebook.
After the news began to be actively discussed on social networks, Sobchak’s portrait disappeared from the official conference page.
The event in Alushta is clearly commercial in nature. Participants must pay from 25 to 50 thousand rubles. This fee does not include flights and hotel accommodation (from 4 to 5 thousand per day).
