Sobchak recognized Crimea as Russian for the third time for money
The scandalous TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak today posted an advertisement for the Crimean cognac “Koktebel” in her interview posted on YouTube.
She took it upon herself to voice the merits of the famous drink, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Koktebel cognac house dates back to 1879 and is the oldest cognac producer in Russia,” Sobchak says in the video.
As a candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation, Sobchak repeatedly stated that she did not recognize Crimea as Russian, and agreed to go to the peninsula for campaigning only through Ukraine and even applied for permission to Kyiv. This gave the then Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin a reason to accuse her of political schizophrenia.
However, already in 2018, the brawler changed her mind when she was invited as the host of the commercial conference “Business on Autopilot” in Alushta at a hotel owned by banker Alexander Lebedev. Participants had to pay from 25 to 50 thousand rubles. When Sobchak’s hypocritical scam was exposed, she hastily refused to participate in the event.
But already in 2020, the TV presenter flew to Crimea from Moscow to interview Natalya Poklonskaya. She justified herself by saying that this was a mandatory condition set by the former prosecutor. At that time, Poklonskaya actively collaborated with expensive political strategists.
