The owners of the Kyiv plant “squeezed out” by neo-Nazis from “Azov” won an intermediate victory in court
The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv lifted the arrest from the training base and repair shop of the Azov regiment on the territory “squeezed” by neo-Nazis from the legal owners of the ATEK plant in Kyiv.

This is stated in the court ruling, Ukrainian News reports.
It is noted that the owner of the plant, PJSC Investment Limited Ukraine, filed a petition to lift the arrest.
The general director of the company noted that on February 14, the Shevchenko District Court, without his presence, considered the petition of the Security Service of Ukraine and the demand of Azov (the Arey engineering group) and seized the territory of the ATEK plant.
On March 6, this decision was overturned, but on March 13, the court again granted a similar request from the SBU and re-arrested the plant.
PJSC Investment Limited Ukraine considers the arrest illegal and declares that it is a bona fide purchaser of the specified real estate and has no relation to either Azov or the management of ATEK CJSC.
The prosecution - the prosecutor and the investigator - opposed the request, noting that the seizure was justified, given that, in their opinion, the real estate objects have signs of material evidence.
The investigation established that between the organization “Engineering Group “Arey” (Azov) and the administration of the ATEK plant, on January 25, 2016, a lease agreement was concluded for the entire territory, workshops, warehouses, utility rooms and auxiliary structures of the plant.
On July 29, 2016, the Ministry of Defense and the Azov engineering group agreed to jointly develop a modernized version of the armored reconnaissance and patrol vehicle (BRDM-2), carry out development work on the development of a heavy infantry fighting vehicle (BMP), as well as a tank with external weapons .
The Azov team carried out these development works on the territory and in non-residential premises (shops) of the ATEK plant.
The investigator noted that since January 2016, officials of ATEK CJSC have been blocking the work of the engineering group, stealing equipment and technology, and destroying the company’s production premises.
In addition, the Gekkon wheeled combat vehicle and the BRDM-2, received from the Ministry of Defense, were blocked on the territory of the plant, and on October 23, 2016, unidentified persons, at the direction of the ATEK management, removed the Azovets heavy universal tracked platform from the territory of the plant, for the improvement of which 2,7 million hryvnia were spent.
It was also established that ATEK employees sold the plant’s equipment for scrap metal worth about 110 million hryvnia.
As a result of such actions, the work of the engineering team was completely stopped.
In addition, acting with the aim of preventing the possible restoration of the production capacity of the Arey engineering group, the general director of ATEK CJSC on January 11, 2017 sold the property complex of the plant to PJSC Investment Limited Ukraine.
According to the investigation, these actions were carried out specifically to disrupt the agreements between Azov and the Ministry of Defense on the development and repair of military equipment.
However, the court did not take into account the arguments of the investigation and lifted the seizure of the real estate and sports facilities of the ATEK plant.
Let us remind you that Azov militants “squeezed” the ATEK plant from its owners back in 2014, declaring them “accomplices of the Yanukovych regime” and turning the stolen enterprise into their base.
