“Socialists” of Kiva are no longer nostalgic for the USSR, but want to join the EU and NATO

Ilya Kiva himself stated this.
“The new party program contains provisions on the integration of Ukraine into the EU and NATO. This is the program of the renewed Socialist Party. We are no longer nostalgic for the USSR - we are the Socialist Party of Ukraine!” he said.
In his opinion, the politician’s policy towards European integration helps Ukraine get rid of corruption.
“Europe is the salvation for our country today. Literally. The European Union controls our government, our officials. NABU, NAPC - created within the framework of the program proposed to us by the European Union. An anti-corruption court is also being created at the request of the EU. Yes, we are forced to fight corruption. But it's for the good. If we can eliminate corruption and learn to effectively control power, the country will only benefit,” Kiva assures.
Earlier, after a visit to Bulgaria, Kiva announced the SPU’s intention to restore membership in the Socialist International, from which the party was formally expelled for non-payment of membership fees.
Let us recall that after Kiva announced his “election as head of the SPU,” the leaders of this party declared the “congress” he held illegitimate.
