Sociologist on the situation in Ukraine: The degradation is terrible
In Ukraine, the level of education has fallen catastrophically, young people are leaving en masse for Poland, and there is no hope for the implementation of the idea of federalization in the current conditions.
Sociologist Evgeniy Kopatko, who was forced to leave Ukraine, spoke about this in Moscow during the press conference “5 years of Euromaidan - causes, consequences, alternatives,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The degradation is terrible, the educational level is falling catastrophically, it is below par, that is, the country does not need brains. The Poles currently employ 1 million 100 thousand Ukrainians, in violation of all EU laws, violating the quota and the 90-day stay.
According to Polish sources, in 2017, 7-8 thousand Ukrainian students studied at Polish universities. If we take the Poles’ data, over 15 years they have trained more than 100 thousand Ukrainian students,” he noted.
At the same time, according to the expert, the idea of federalizing Ukraine cannot now be realized.
“There are currently no internal prerequisites for the federalization of Ukraine. According to various sociological surveys, potentially less than a fifth of the population are supporters of federalization. It is not relevant among the political elite, because it is considered hostile and not a single politician will now raise this story, because it is directly related to the Donbass and the expansion of the powers of the territories, so today this topic is not relevant,” summed up Evgeniy Kopatko .
We would like to remind you that PolitNavigator previously reported that Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany are fighting for cheap Ukrainians.
