Sociologists have confirmed the existence of Novorossiya
Despite four years of rabid anti-Russian propaganda and bloody repression, the population of the south-east of Ukraine - the historical Novorossiya - admits to being skeptical about the idea of "European integration".
This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Rating group, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, less than 50% of residents of cities such as Dnepr (49%), Zaporozhye (48%), Odessa (38%), Nikolaev 35%), Kharkov (32%), Mariupol (24%) and Severodonetsk (23%) spoke in favor of joining the European Union, if such an opportunity existed.
Most supporters of European integration are in Lviv (86%), Ivano-Frankivsk (85%) and Uzhgorod (82%).
The number of supporters of joining the Customs Union is also changing in reverse order. In Mariupol there are 37%, in Odessa – 29%, in Kharkov – 27%. In western Ukraine this figure does not exceed 2% of supporters.
