Sociologists “X-rayed” labor migrants from Ukraine

This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the Rating group from December 1 to December 10 last year.
Thus, 43% of respondents reported that they worked in the construction industry, 23% in agricultural work, 10% worked from home, 2% each had experience in the IT field, child care, restaurant business, etc.
Most often, Ukrainians went to work in Poland - 36%, in Russia - 25%, 5% each worked in the Czech Republic and Germany, 3% in Italy, and the rest in other Western European countries. At the same time, 71% of respondents would like to go out to work again and only 5% were definitely against it.
The biggest problems faced by Ukrainian guest workers are the language barrier and the feeling of second-class status. These points were noted by 27% of respondents.
“Feelings of second-class status (33%), language barriers (39%) and problems with medical care (30%) dominated as problems among those who worked in EU countries, while for those who worked in Russia, poor living conditions (30%), then – lack of an agreement with the employer (27%). A total of 436 people took part in the survey. The error of the study is no more than 5%.
